A professional with over sixteen years of experience. Paula's passion for hairdressing has driven her to continually refine her skills, participating in over forty additional hair training courses , to ensure she stays at the cutting edge of the latest trends and techniques .
Paula's expertise has not gone unnoticed; she was a finalist in the Hair and Beauty awards, a testament to her dedication and creativity in the industry.
Under her leadership, the Gloucester Road salon has gained recognition on a national level.

In 2019, Paula took over a local hair salon with a vision to transform it into a hub of creativity and self-expression. The pandemic posed unexpected challenges, but through resilience and adaptability, the salon not only survived but emerged stronger, becoming a cornerstone of the community. Today, we’re proud to say we’re constantly growing and evolving, embracing the latest trends and techniques to bring out the best in every client who walks through our doors.
Our Story
Meet Maja - Junior Stylist
At New Style Hair Salon, we believe that every talented stylist deserves the right environment to learn, grow and build a successful career. That is why we are proud to support Maja on her professional hairdressing journey.
Maja discovered her passion for hair at the age of 17, when she began experimenting with styling and creating different looks for her friends and family. After completing her Level 2 Hairdressing qualification, she joined our team as a Junior Stylist and is now continuing her education at Level 3.
Maja works closely with Paula, who brings over 16 years of experience in the hairdressing industry. Under Paula’s guidance and mentorship, Maja is developing her skills in professional consultations, haircutting, blow-drying, styling, product knowledge and personalised hair care. Each appointment gives her valuable experience while ensuring that every service is carried out with care, attention to detail and professional support.
Maja is currently building her confidence in straight-line haircuts, soft layers and styles for medium-to-long hair. Her warm personality and thoughtful approach help clients feel comfortable, listened to and looked after throughout their visit.
